Our Team

Angelo L. Suggs, PT is the Founder and President/ CEO of Peninsula Physical Therapy & Associates, Inc. Angelo was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina and is a graduate of East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, where he completed numerous clinical affiliations as he earned his degree in physical therapy. Angelo has years of special training in orthopedics, sports, aquatic therapy, manual therapy, work injuries, pain management, and geriatric care, among others.  Angelo is an International Weightlifting Association (IWA) certified weight trainer. He has been an active member of the APTA and the Private Practice Section for over 25 years. He is also a member of the American College of Sports Medicine.

Angelo has been married to his wife Dianne for over 33 years with three children and one grandchild. When not at work, Angelo enjoys spending time with family, reading, serving in his church community, travel, collecting unique artifacts and enjoying the plentiful coastal waterways near his home in Hampton, Virginia.
